From the beginning of 2026 Lalamour enters a new chapter under a new management team with extensive experience in sustainable textiles, ethical production and responsible brand building.
Our ambition is clear: in the coming years Lalamour aims to become one of the most sustainable fashion brands in Europe. Not only through certified materials or production standards but across the entire organization… from responsible and fair sourcing to long-term partnerships, logistics and strategic decision-making.
One of the most widely acknowledged yet rarely addressed challenges in the fashion industry is the continuous pressure placed on manufacturers … driven by unrealistic lead times, pricing structures and short-term commercial thinking. From 2026 onwards, Lalamour is committed to doing things differently
We work with purchasing standards that fundamentally differ from those of traditional and commercial fashion brands. Our approach is built on fair pricing, realistic timelines, transparent communication and long-term collaboration with our suppliers and partners.
Rather than pushing pressure downstream, we work closely with our suppliers to jointly plan production in a way that is realistic and sustainable for all parties involved. Through open dialogue and shared problem-solving, we actively explore how production can be organised without excessive overtime, while ensuring fair wages and responsible working conditions for everyone in the supply chain.
We believe that responsible purchasing is one of the most powerful tools a brand has to create positive social and environmental impact. By aligning expectations early and working together as true partners we aim to build stability, trust and long-term value … not only for our brand, but also for the people who make our clothing.
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown without the use of harmful chemicals, reducing impact on soil, water and surrounding ecosystems. It is breathable, soft and better for both the environment and the people involved in its cultivation.
TENCEL™ Lyocell
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are made from wood pulp and are known for their strength, moisture absorption and natural comfort. They are produced using a closed-loop process that recovers and reuses the majority of the solvent, resulting in minimal waste.
TENCEL™ Modal
TENCEL™ Modal fibers are derived from wood pulp and valued for their exceptional softness, durability and shape retention. The fibers remain smooth and comfortable even after repeated washing.
LENZING™ ECOVERO™
ECOVERO™ viscose is made from wood-based raw materials and produced with a lower environmental impact compared to conventional viscose. The process focuses on reduced emissions and water use.
Recycled Polyester
Recycled polyester is made from existing plastic waste, helping to reduce the use of virgin fossil resources. By keeping materials in use for longer, it supports a more circular approach to textile production.
Recycled Cotton
Recycled cotton is produced from textile waste and cutting scraps. It reduces water and energy consumption while giving existing materials a second life without compromising comfort.
CIRCULOSE®
CIRCULOSE® is a regenerated fiber made from discarded cotton textiles. By transforming textile waste into new raw material, it helps reduce the use of virgin resources and supports circular textile production.
RE&UP
RE&UP fibers are created from post-consumer and industrial textile waste. Through advanced recycling processes, discarded materials are turned into high-quality fibers suitable for new garments.
We believe that sustainable fashion starts with strong, transparent and long-term relationships. Lalamour works closely with a carefully selected group of manufacturing partners, many of whom we have collaborated with for years.
Our main manufacturing partner is Orimpex, based in İzmir, Turkey. We have been working with Orimpex for over ten years, and approximately 95% of the responsible materials used across our collections are developed in close collaboration with them. Since its foundation in 2007, Orimpex has been a pioneering producer in sustainable apparel manufacturing, working exclusively with responsible materials and accepting only sustainability-driven orders.
Alongside Orimpex, we collaborate with Busra Triko and Ege Örgü primarily for our knitwear collections. Wherever possible, we aim to source within the same region to reduce transport-related impact and to maintain close, transparent relationships throughout the production process.
Orimpex is certified to GOTS, OCS and GRS, and is audited under BSCI and the Fair Wear Foundation. Notably, Orimpex became the world’s first B Corp certified clothing manufacturer five years ago. This milestone demonstrated that responsible production, strong governance and commercial viability can go hand in hand within the apparel industry opening doors for wider change across the sector.
We are honest about the fact that sustainability is complex and that progress takes time. Some improvements are straightforward others require deep structural change. We do not claim to have all the answers but we are committed to asking the right questions and to moving forward with integrity.
By setting clear ambitions, working closely with our partners and continuously challenging ourselves, we aim to build a brand that is not only creative and expressive but also responsible and long-term oriented.
This is the path Lalamour has chosen and we are fully committed to walking it.
